SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Today the movement has a new figure that is of a teenager named Greta Thunberg. She is called as the Voice of the Planet. And leads a global youth movement and has been nominated for the Global Peace Prize. Her actions started with a solitary strike outside Sweden’s parliament last year. By going on school strikes she inspired 1.4 million students in 112 countries to join her in a global war house. It was looking like this could be the largest climate protest in planet's history. She has stopped flying and gone vegan, don’t buy new things unless she absolutely have to. She has been trying to communicate to people what is happening and try to put pressure on people in power.

 A lot of people know that climate change is an issue, that’s not the debate, the debate is how willing they’re to get involved. And a lot of young people don't feel that they have the power at all to make any change if we actually come together we totally can change so many things. What was particularly inspiring about Sunrise Movement was the group of young people who are willing to meet the challenge and they are making our voices heard and not only they are making noise about it but are also putting pressure on the political system to make sure that the Democrat politicians come along with them and take up the cause to push for an economy based on renewable resources. Which we need to move towards. One more good example is of school climate strikes. Of young 1.4 million people taking to the streets to demand change. Climate change is a very big modern day issue. Concerning our day to day activities on earth. The World Trade Organization has predicted that climate change will directly be responsible for the deaths of over 2,50,000 people each year. Many governments are failing to respond to this issue. The pressure groups are believing that change is possible. They’re taking each and every action so that the political groups recognise this agenda. There is one movement that is going in US it's name is Sunrise Movement and one in UK which is known as Extinction Rebellion. Its members believe that the only step to environmental change is people’s destiny to rise up. People are standing up and demanding a better future. in the US a group of youth people are campaigning for urgent  environmental action. They are forcing the adults to listen. Abraham Maslow was a professor of psychology. He was famous for his self-actualization theory of psychology. His theory of hierarchy of needs was proposed in his paper. A Theory of Human Motivation in 1943. His theory moves from bottom to top. He divided human needs into 5 categories that is at the bottom he has placed psychological needs that forms the base of all other needs. It includes the basic necessities that we require in our day-to-day life that is breathing, food, water, clothing, shelter etc. Without which one cannot survive on this planet. As we go upwards then there is a 2nd category from the bottom of the hierarchy that is safety needs. It includes family, health, property, security etc. Once we achieve our physical needs we require safety of property, job security, family welfare etc. So, this second bottom category focuses on the safety needs.  After security needs the 3rd bottom category is of social needs.  A ring is a very small object but something which is gifted by your closed ones becomes the most precious thing in your lives. So, in my heart there is a very special place for this beautiful silver ring, as my mother gifted me this ring 4 years ago. A mother and a daughter shares a very special bond which cannot be calculated. This ring always reminds me of my mother’s immortal love and affection for me, till the time I am alive this ring will always be there in my fingers, making a mother and a daughter’s love eternal.
